Arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) early this morning. Navigating the customs queue and setting up the local eSIM took a bit of time, but the Airport Express train made getting into the city center straightforward.
Afternoon Journal
Checked into the hotel and immediately headed out to find some food. The contrast between the massive, modern thoroughfares and the narrow, historic hutongs is striking. We found a small spot serving Jianbing and settled in to plan tomorrow's route to the Great Wall.
